"Serial number 7108109. Made in 2004 with a 24-inch .308 barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. This M1 was assembled by Springfield Armory, Inc. using a combination of new made parts & USGI surplus. New parts include the barrel, the wood furniture & a receiver made by ADI Australia (Australian Defence Industries, Lithgow). The USGI surplus parts include the gas cylinder, the gas cylinder lock, a solid/single-slot gas cylinder lock screw, an ""NM"" marked Springfield radius cut operating rod, a Springfield bolt, a Springfield trigger assembly & all USGI internal fire control components. Overall condition of the new made parts is excellent & the surplus parts have been refinished with a dull gray phosphate. Comes with a reproduction leather M1907 type sling & a cleaning kit in the stock.
