"Serial No. 74923, manufactured in May 1943, chambered in 8×22mm Nambu with a 4.6" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong, well-defined rifling. Serial numbers are matching throughout with the exception of the magazine. The metal finish has thinned to a smooth grey patina, consistent with wartime production and service use, while the grips remain in very good overall condition. A representative mid-war example of the Type 14 with the desirable large trigger guard configuration, showing honest wear and retaining strong mechanical integrity. The action functions correctly.
