Description:
Serial #C111832, .45 ACP, 5 inch barrel marked "P" over "H" with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Colt Government Model 1911 pistol manufactured in 1919. In excellent condition the metal surfaces retain about 85-90% blue with the slide showing crisp markings and some holster wear with silvering around the left side of muzzle and the high edges, the frame has thinning blue toning to brown on the gripstraps with some overall scattered tiny freckling. The diamond walnut checkered grips rate about excellent with some flattening of the points. The lock up is tight with strong springs. It comes with an original WWII two tone magazine.
