The Dutch Beaumont Model 1871/88 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 11.3x51 mm. This antique firearm features a 32.7-inch barrel and is dated 1877. The rifle retains a silvery gray patina finish on its metal surfaces and includes an adjustable rear military sight. The stock is a smooth, straight-grip wood configuration fitted with a metal butt plate. Multiple proof marks are present on the receiver and barrel, consistent with period inspection practices.
The bore condition is described as very good, showing clear rifling and visible shine. The rifle’s action is noted as strong, and the serial number F7700 appears on all major components, indicating matching parts. The overall appearance reflects the typical service configuration of late 19th-century Dutch military rifles, with original mechanical design features intact.
