This French-made Manurhin PPK/S stands out for its verified Saint-Étienne proofs and matching slide/frame serials, paired with period-correct U.S. import markings from RTB Corp. It features a polished blue slide over a blued steel frame, a fixed 3.3 in barrel, and DA/SA operation. Overall Condition: Very Good condition, showing some light signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
French manufacture is clearly documented throughout this PPK/S. The left side of the slide is marked \"MANURHIN\" and \"Model PPK/S Cal .22LR – Made in France,\" while the right side carries the Saint-Étienne proofs that appear on the frame along with \"ST ETIENNE\" on the barrel hood.
Operation is simple blowback with a DA/SA trigger. Controls include a slide-mounted safety/de-cocker, a left-side push-button magazine release, and an external ring-style hammer spur. This configuration omits an external slide-stop lever, consistent with the pattern.
The fixed 3.3 in barrel and fixed sights (blade front, square-notch rear) provide a classic PPK/S sighting setup. Capacity is 10+1 in .22LR
As the PPK/S variant introduced to meet 1968 U.S. import requirements, this example represents the mid-1980s period when Manurhin-produced pistols were directly imported to the United States.
