The Smith & Wesson M&P 45 M2.0 is a striker-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 Auto (ACP). It represents an evolution of the original M&P series, incorporating several design updates intended to enhance ergonomics and performance.
Key Design Features
Frame and Grip: The pistol features an extended stainless-steel chassis and a high grip-to-barrel bore axis ratio, which is designed to reduce muzzle rise. It includes four interchangeable palmswell grip inserts (Small, Medium, Medium-Large, and Large) and an 18-degree grip angle.
Trigger System: The M2.0 trigger has a lighter pull than previous versions and includes a tactile and audible reset.
Finish and Durability: The barrel and slide are finished with Armornite, a corrosion-resistant treatment. The frame is made of polymer with an aggressive skin texture for a secure grip.
