Description:
The Belgian pinfire revolver is an antique six-shot, single-action handgun featuring a folding trigger and a 3.375-inch octagonal barrel. The barrel includes a front sight and measures approximately 7 to 8 millimeters at the muzzle. Typical of 19th-century European manufacture, the revolver utilizes the pinfire ignition system, identifiable by the side-mounted cartridge slots. No serial number markings are present on the frame or barrel surfaces.
Metal components display a uniform brown patina consistent with age and oxidation. The smooth wooden grips show minor dents and handling marks typical of long-term storage or use. The mechanical action is incomplete; the trigger does not move, and the hammer is loose. These characteristics indicate the revolver is currently non-functional but retains its original structural form and period-correct configuration.
