Description:
The New Design Bull Dog revolver is an antique, double- and single-action handgun chambered in .41 caliber. It features a five-shot cylinder and a 3.25-inch barrel with fixed sights. The revolver has an engraved nickel finish, characteristic of late 19th-century pocket models. No serial number is present on this piece, consistent with production practices of that era.
The nickel finish shows wear typical of age, including scratches and areas of thinning. Both bone grips exhibit damage: the left grip has visible cracks, and the right grip is chipped. The bore remains in good condition, showing defined rifling and a bright interior. The mechanical action functions, though the trigger requires manual resetting after each pull. Overall, the revolver reflects the expected patina and surface wear of a used antique firearm while retaining its primary structural features.
No accessories or packaging accompany the revolver. All components visible are original to the firearm’s design, including the engraved frame, fixed sights, and bone grip panels. This revolver is in used condition and displays the mechanical and cosmetic characteristics described above.
