Description:
The SKB Shotguns Model 585 Sporting is a 20-gauge over/under shotgun configured with 28-inch vent rib barrels and a 3-inch chamber. It uses a break-action design with a two-round capacity. The receiver features stainless metalwork with engraved detailing, and the shotgun is fitted with a deluxe checkered wood pistol grip stock and matching forearm. A factory black hard rubber recoil pad is installed, and grip tape is applied over the pad surface. Dual bead sights are positioned along the vented rib for target alignment.
This 585 Sporting is used. The bores are described as excellent, showing bright and clean interiors. The length of pull measures approximately 14 inches, and overall length is about 45¼ inches. The release trigger mechanism and strong mechanical lockup are noted. Metal and wood components retain their original factory configuration, including the engraved frame and capped pistol grip stock.
Included with the shotgun are the original factory box, a hard case with one broken latch, the factory manual, assorted paperwork, an SKB choke tool, and four screw-in choke tubes. The serial number is NS95839. All listed accessories correspond to the factory-supplied equipment for this model.
