Excellent condition 1966 T Series HI Power produced by Fabrique Nationale (FN) in Herstal Belgium. This pistol is very unique and not often found here in the states. It is not “Browning” marked because it was not made for export to the U.S. This pistol was made for a contract overseas. It comes in the original box that is numbered to this pistol. All U.S. intended pistols are marked Browning and have/had brown wood grip panels. As they were intended for the commercial market. The T Series pistols for U.S. were brought in in maroon colored boxes, not the blue one shown here.
The "T Series" guns are regarded by collectors as being the last run of FN's high polish guns with very quality fit and finish from the factory. The blued finish rates high at 97-98%. The front and back straps are near flawless. The grips are 99%. Free of any chips or cracks. Fixed sights as most T series pistol were. Matched serial numbers on the barrel, slide and frame along with the proper Belgian Proofs on the trigger guard/frame. Classic ring hammer.
A real treasure for the Hi Power Collector or wonderful pistol in any situation.
