Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber with a bright shiny bore with strong rifling and a few scattered pits. Sights include a German silver blade front and sporting rear. Barrel and full length magazine tube have thinning fading blue with some scratches. Receiver has thinning blue with some spots of corrosion with a series of tiny dents on the forward part of the frame. Some edge wear and traces of case colors on the hammer and lever. About 50% blue on the loading gate. Crisp functioning action. Walnut stock set is in good condition with some handling mars. Rifle style buttplate with no cleaning rod in the trapdoor. An honest looking Winchester rifle that was made in 1890.
