Description:
JM Marlin 1894S .41 Magnum in Excllet condition. As you can see in photos , the only real flaws are some shallow , small scrapes on surface finish of wood and don't actually gouge into wood. A good "Wood Man" can make these dissappear like they never happened. This is the result of moving around in my safe for 30 years and being too dumb to uas a gun sock.
Metal seems to be undinged with no scratches. Very good condition for 1984 vintige rifle. The 1894S .41 Mag was a fairly small production run ; with only about 3,613 to about 4,000 rifles made in two batches. The first and largest run was in 1984 and this rifle was part of this first batch, made in 1984. A second and smaller batch was produced in 1988. I think I read Ruger has no plans to reintroduce a .41 Magnum model ; so JM Marlin .41 magnum rifles will likely become extremly scarce , collectable and appreciate rapidly.
