Description:
Carl Gustaf 1894 Carbine bolt action rifle with an 18 inch barrel and chambered in 6.5x55mm. Markings: The top of the receiver is marked "crown / C / CARL GUSTAFS STADS / GEVARSFAKTORI. / 1914". The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number "59276" and with an inspection stamp "HK". Most of the metal parts are marked with small Swedish "crowns" and/or with the last 3 digits of the serial number. The floorplate s/n does not match. Sights / Optics: The front sight is an inverted "V" post set between two protective ears. The rear sight is a "V" notched blade in the down position. When flipped up it becomes a sight ladder that uses a second, sliding "V" notched blade. It is marked from "4-16". A nice rifle worthy of anyone's collection. Still in great shape. 6.5x55mm
