Description:
Winchester 70 Featherweight rifle chambered in 7mm Mauser with a 22" barrel. The left side of the barrel is marked "-WINCHESTER- MODEL 70 CAL 7MM MAUSER / -MADE IN NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL-" and at the top of the barrel an ovalled "WP" proof. The left side of the barrel is mark cursive "FEATHERWEIGHT".This gun features a one piece checkered walnut stock, caped semi pistol grip, decorative boarder checkering with fleur-de-lis and a Winchester recoil pad. The bolt is jeweled with a knurled bolt handle and the receiver is drilled and tapped. Gun only. Serial G2067480. 7MM Mauser

Chambers: Bolt action.
Metal Condition: Light edge wear at the muzzle and a couple nicks in the barrel on the left side. There is some finish wear in the back of the rear receiver from a scope base and some light operational wear on the controls. Overall about 90% or better.
Wood Condition: "The stock rates about 90% with various scattered dings, light drag lines, and two compression marks on the left side forend.
Bore Condition: Bright surface with nice strong rifling.
Barrels: 22" barrel.
Triggers: Single trigger.
Stock Dimensions:
LOP 12 3/4".
Fore End: Checkered.
Butt Pad: Rubber.
