Description:
The pump rifle is the woods-runner's gun. They are short, and (relatively) light, for carry in dense woods where action can be sudden. This one was manufactured in 1954, based upon the barrel code. It is in good condition showing a few scattered pits, carrying wear and usage / handling marks. A very good hunting gun in a very good caliber that doesn't come around too often. The wood stands proud of the metal, but it does appear to have been lightly sanded and then finished with a coat of oil-finish. .300 Savage

Metal Condition: Good. The blue is a bit worn at the carry point and there are a few shallow pits.
Wood Condition: Very good. It does look like it has been sanded lightly and then finished with a coating of oil. They did a nice job of it.
Bore Condition: "A little dark but shiny and has good rifling, a bore snake has been run through it, and it cleaned up very nicely.
