French made 1831 short sword
Double edged blade originally 19". At some point in its history this blade was modified to a 13" dagger style. French makers name Talbot Paris and French inspection marking. Excellent Roman style massive and heavy one piece ribbed brass grip with round pommel. Brass straight crossguard with 2 round finished quillons.
