33088- CONFEDERATE CSA USED CIVIL WAR HARPERS FERRY PERCUSSION CONVERSION FLINTLOCK MODEL 1795 MUSKET CIRCA 1860-61. Over 60K obsolete flintlocks of various types converted by Virginia before and during the war. 44” smoothbore .69 caliber barrel with Ordnance proofs (V/P/EAGLE HEAD) at left breech. Lock stamped behind hammer “HARPERS/FERRY/1814” and with “U.S./FEDERAL EAGLE” in front. War used with old dark patina on metal. Stock with the original heavily worn finish with old repairs and dings. Semi-relic condition original that has lots of character. Has seen many battles and campaigns. Original ramrod. $950.
