This rifle was in a house fire. The Savage Arms® 10 Long Range Hunter Bolt-Action Rifle offers shooters an excellent bolt-action rifle platform for hunting at extended ranges. This Savage comes with HS Precision composite stock and a Preffered Barrel Blanks heavy barrel. Savage Arms' AccuTrigger® is user adjustable to obtain a light, crisp release with no creep. The basic bolt design assures that the locking lugs fully contact the receiver, holding the headspace to a minimum every time the bolt is locked, which contributes to the excellent accuracy Savage Arms rifles are known for. A 3-position receiver tang safety is easy to reach with the shooter's thumb and allows the rifle to be loaded and unloaded with the safety engaged. .220 Swift
