Description:
This is a custom 1931 Winchester Model 54 chambered in .219 Donaldson "Wasp". This example features an "A" suffix in its serial number which were produced between 1925 and 1936 and denotes a design change, specifically to the extractor, these were not interchangeable with earlier "pre-A" models. The right side of the receiver is marked with the serial number "37422A". The left side of the receiver is marked "WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK" and with an ovalled "WP" proof. The left of the barrel is marked ".219 DONALDSON. WASP". The right side of the barrel is marked "H.A.Donaldson". The stock is a one-piece hand checkered walnut with a semi pistol grip, straight comb, beavertail forend, and checkered shotgun style buttplate. There are sling swivel studs mounted on the belly and on the forend. The scope is a fine crosshair Weaver K10-4 with adjustable objective. The rifle comes with a set of RCBS dies. This is rifle displays use on the stock, but still remains a very nice piece. .219 Donaldson Wasp

Chambers: Bolt action.
Metal Condition: This finish on this rifle rates about 90% or better remaining. No rust or corrosion. The scope is in great condition.
Wood Condition: The stock shows light dings and scratches along the surface with a few minor compression marks here and there. The checkering remains intact with some of the points broken and starting to matte. The stock rates about 80% or better remaining.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright with very strong rifling.
Barrels: 24" barrel.
Triggers: Single trigger.
