Offered is a factory Winchester Model 12 Pigeon Grade in 12 gauge with desirable 3” Magnum chamber, serial number 1500485, manufactured in 1955. This example represents one of Winchester’s premium Model 12 configurations built for serious trap and live-bird competition.
This shotgun features a 30” solid rib barrel marked FULL choke and fitted with a brass front bead. The substantial 8 lb 13 oz weight combined with the longer barrel provides the steady swing and balance preferred for target shooting and traditional live-bird competition.
The Pigeon Grade is distinguished by its upgraded finish and factory engraving, including the distinctive engraved pigeon on the magazine tube. These guns were positioned above standard field models and remain sought after by collectors and Model 12 enthusiasts.
