Description:
German Schuetzen Target Rifle 8.15 x 46R caliber , Bore and chamber Exc, Mech Exc tight action. Wood is original and VG strong checkering and has carving. The forearm has carving and a wedge to secure it to the barrel. Has a 29 ½” Oct barrel with original sights ,rear sight is adjustable and the front sight has a very thin post and has markings on the sight ramp A Griebner and A Schaffenberg looks like ones an engraver and the other a gunsmith. The left side of the barrel is marked Prima which is a grade of the rifle. The muzzle has the name L.Kautz, Customer and town Birstein. The receiver is the Martini style action with double set triggers (working) and has a takedown lever for the trigger bar. Metal overall has an aged original fading blue finish on the barrel and the receiver has case coloring 20% fading. The receiver sight is missing probably removed for using the open sights Has original sling swivels. 30-30 cases anneal and shorten Works and shoots great A beautiful quality rifle well taken care of .
