Description:
Introduced in 1977 by Sturm, Ruger & Co., the Ruger Red Label was one of the few American-made over/under shotguns of its era. Built with a distinctive stainless steel receiver and robust internal design, it earned a strong following among upland hunters and clay shooters.
Due to rising production costs, Ruger discontinued the Red Label in 2011. In 2013, the company reintroduced a refined version featuring improved manufacturing efficiency, lighter overall weight, and enhanced trigger performance. Production after the 2013 re-launch was relatively limited before the line was discontinued again, making late-production examples increasingly desirable.
This Model 4192, manufactured after the 2013 reintroduction and shipped from Ruger in 2025, represents one of the final iterations of this iconic American over/under—an especially attractive example for collectors and dedicated Ruger enthusiasts.

Description
This shotgun is New-In-The-Box (NIB) and remains unfired beyond factory testing. It features 30-inch over/under barrels chambered for 12 gauge, 3" shells, offering excellent sight radius and swing characteristics ideal for sporting clays, trap, and upland applications.
