Description:
This is a really nice pre-war Browning Belgium 16ga Auto 5. As much as I can tell it is wearing the original wood finish and bluing. No pitting, no rust. Bore is bright and shiny with no pits. Stock is unaltered and LOP is 14-1/2" with just enough patina. No fore end cracks or repairs. Serial number is 75141 which denotes a 1929 manufacture date. It has a 28" barrel with solid rib that was originally choked full and was opened to IC ".010" along with the 2-3/4" conversion all done at Arts Gun Shop. All serialized parts match: screws, wood, bolt, barrel and action. I purchased it from Art's Gun Shop a couple of years ago and it's been on a couple of quail hunts. Operates as is should and hits to point of aim with a great IC pattern. This will make a terrific upland hunting gun, so much nicer than the modern stuff.
