Description:
The Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 38 Double-Action Revolver comes with an Insight laser sight module housing, mounted on the right side of the frame. A small button on the top of the module controls the unit with a simple push of the finger. The Bodyguard 38, chambered in .38 Special, employs an aluminum cylinder frame with an integrated barrel/ejector rod shroud; a stainless-steel barrel insert fits inside of the barrel shroud. The 5-shot, +P rated cylinder is made of PVD-coated stainless steel. To further reduce weight, the lower frame assembly, consisting of the grip frame and trigger guard, is made of polymer. A concealed hammer prevents the gun from snagging while being drawn from a holster, pocket, or purse. The ambidextrous cylinder release lever on the upper grip frame allows quick engagement with either hand. The Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 38 Double-Action Revolver is a lightweight, fast handling concealed carry gun that you can count on to deploy rapidly in hi-stress, personal defense situations. .38 Special + P
