Description:
The Mauser Model 98 is a renowned bolt-action rifle designed by Paul Mauser in 1898, featuring a 3-lug bolt, controlled-round feed, and a 5-round internal magazine. Known for its exceptional strength, safety, and reliability, it served as the primary German infantry rifle in both World Wars and is the foundation for most modern bolt-action hunting rifles. This Mauser model 98 has been drilled and tapped to accept optics. Pictures show the optics removed with the receiver markings including Nazi Waffenamt markings. With the receiver being drilled and tapped the rifle is not historically accurate, but would make a great addition / shooter to any collection. 8mm Mauser
