Description:
Smith & Wesson Model 49-2, a highly desirable "Bodyguard" style revolver built on the proven J-frame platform. Featuring the distinctive shrouded hammer design, this revolver allows for both single- and double-action operation while maintaining snag-resistant carry characteristics. This example is in overall very good condition. The metal surfaces retain strong finish with only mild handling marks and light wear consistent with careful use. The revolver presents very well overall. The bottom left side of the grip shows slightly more moderate wear, visible upon close inspection, but does not detract from the function or structural integrity of the firearm.
