Description:
This Dumoulin Herstal Model Safari chambered in .458 Winchester Magnum is a bolt-action rifle built for serious dangerous-game performance. It features a 24-inch barrel, weighs 10.5 pounds, and has a 14 1/8-inch length of pull with an internal capacity of 3. The rifle is fitted with a fully engraved quarter rib equipped with EAW quick-lock pivot mounts and folding multi-leaf iron sights, including a fixed 50-yard notch and a folding 150-yard leaf, both highlighted with gold lines. It also features a matching engraved pivoting hooded ramp front sight. The coin-finished receiver displays hand-engraved scrollwork with a matted top, complemented by a fully extended top tang overcomb and a fully extended lower tang running from the trigger guard to the engraved pistol grip cap, which includes a trap door for a spare front sight. Mounted to the rifle is a Swarovski Optik Habicht 1.5–4.5x20A Nova optic. The rifle shows slight honest wear consistent with field use, and all engraving and scrollwork is hand executed, underscoring the craftsmanship and bespoke quality of this safari rifle.
