Description:
Mauser P38 in 9mm . The left side of the slide is marked "P.38", "byf / 43" and "2501 I". The left side of the frame is marked "2501 I" and an "Eagle / 135" Waffenamt. The left barrel flat is marked with an "Eagle / 135"". The front barrel flat is marked "2501 I". The right barrel flat is not marked. The bottom of the locking block is marked "2501 / I", the right side is marked with an "Eagle / 135" and the left side is marked with an Eagle Swastika. The right side of the slide is marked with two "Eagle / 135" Waffenamts, with an Eagle Swastika in the center. The front sight is a dovetailed blade. The rear sight is a "U"-notch dovetailed to the rear of the slide. The left grip is an "AEG" with both top circles unreadable and "p / 1529 /3" on the bottom left and "p / 1528 /3". The 8 round magazine is marked "P 38 V"on the left side. The spine of the magazine is marked "Eagle / 135". 9mm Parabellum

Metal Condition: Great surplus condition with some minor finish wear on the front strap and a few edges.
Wood Condition: The bakelite grips are in great condition with no cracks or scraps.
Bore Condition: Bright bore with light pitting in the grooves. The rifling remains very strong.
Triggers: SA/DA.
