Good condition. Bore has good visible rifling and reads slightly over .05. READ FULL DESCRIPTION. Attention WWII collectors here's your change to own an iconic WWII era service rifle. Smith-Corona produced approximately 234,580 M1903A3 rifles for the U.S. military during World War II, with production starting in late 1942 and ending around February 1944. This rifle is not a perfect, proper specimen, and has been partially sporterized,. With that being said, it would be a great shooter for any wartime collector. The rifle's rear sight was removed and receiver drilled & tapped at one time. Bolt & stock have been altered. Stock may have been touched up, cartouches are partially visible. Bore has good rifling & moderate shine. .30-06
