We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty as we have no ammunition to test them with. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Description:
Here is a very cool but well used Remington #2 Rolling Block chambered for what appears to be 32-20 WCF. The barrel is marked "32 W" and the breach block looks to be an original centerfire block. This does not appear to me to be a conversion from a 32 Rimfire. The is a modern gun as it is marked Remington Arms Co. and has a high serial number. The bore is rough ahead for the chamber but it pretty good further down where it shows strong rifling and smooth metal with shine. This rifle should shoot fine with standard 32-20 ammo. The #2 Rolling Block is a smaller medium size action. Bigger than the #4 .22 and .32 rimfire models but smaller than the #1, #5, and other large military models. This is a strong action and I have a similar one chambered for 44-40 which had no problem handling a whitetail deer last year. Thanks for looking!
