Description:
This is a nice example of a classic L.C. Smith Model 2E, made during the brand's Hunter Arms era. Research indicates that it's a pre-1913 model, manufactured circa 1905. It's in good shape, most of the finish is still on the steel, there's no rust or pitting, and the wood is free of cracks or deep gouges. Just the normal dings and shallow scratches that you'd expect on a shotgun that's seen some time in the field or at the range.
