A 1970 Marlin "Brace of 1,000". These guns are in excellent condition with just a couple of the brass accents tarnished. The original case is gone( probably turned to dust like most. The prior owner had a replacement case made. These are a 100th-anniversary (1870–1970) commemorative set featuring an engraved Model 336 (.30-30) and Model 39A (.22 LR) with matching serial numbers. Only 1,000 sets were produced, featuring deluxe walnut stocks, brass accents, and a presentation case.
Produced to mark 100 years of American gunmaking by Marlin Firearms.Components: Each set contains two rifles: a Model 336 lever-action in .30-30 caliber and a Model 39A lever-action in .22 S, L, LR caliber.Features: Both rifles feature 20-inch octagon barrels, deluxe walnut stocks, and engraving by master engravers Robert Kain and Winston Churchill.
