Offered here is a highly desirable consecutive serial numbered pair of U.S. military Remington Rand M1911A1 pistols manufactured in 1944 during the height of WWII production.
Both pistols were released through the Civilian Marksmanship Program and are documented as CMP Grade examples. Each includes its corresponding CMP Certificate of Authenticity.
While Remington Rand produced large numbers of pistols during the war, finding consecutive serial numbered examples that have remained together is increasingly uncommon. Consecutive WWII military 1911A1 pairs are seldom encountered on the market, particularly with documented CMP provenance.
These are original U.S. service pistols as received from the CMP. Markings, finish condition, and component configuration are shown clearly in the accompanying photographs. Please review images carefully for full details.
