THIS IS A USED SHOTGUN IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. IT IS VERY CLEAN OVERALL AND RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL FINISH. THE RECEIVER IS BEAUTIFULLY ENGRAVED, AND THE WALNUT WOOD IS IN FANTASTIC SHAPE, FEATURING A ROUND KNOB STOCK WITH A PLASTIC BUTT PLATE AND A LENGTH OF PULL OF 14.5". THE 28" VENT RIB BARREL IS DISTINCTIVE, MARKED ON THE LEFT SIDE (MADE IN JAPAN - ENGRAVED IN BELGIUM BY FNHERSTAL). OUR RESEARCH INDICATES THIS IS LIKELY A PERIOD-CORRECT REPLACEMENT BARREL. IT HAS A FIXED CHOKE AND A 2-3/4" CHAMBER, WITH THE CHOKE MARKING BEING **, SIGNIFYING AN IMPROVED MODIFIED CONSTRICTION. MY GAUGE MEASURES THE CONSTRICTION AT 18 THOUSANDTHS. THE SERIAL NUMBER INDICATES A MANUFACTURING DATE OF 1958.
