I have for sale my Remington Model 700 BDL Custom Deluxe Rifle in 30-06. I purchased this gun new in the summer of 1984 to become my go to deer rifle, which it has been. I have chased bucks in Northern New Hampshire and Maine with It and have shot many. But I have not hunted with it in a few years now so it is time to get it out of the safe and let someone else enjoy hunting with it. It comes with the original Leupold Low mount Steel scope rings on it I originally mounted on it. I have the original iron sights that came with it and will send them to whoever purchases this gun but, they are in my storage shed and I cannot get to them until spring. The snow coupled with the fact that I am recovering from a total knee replacement just three weeks ago prevents me from getting to them now. I have always taken great care with this gun. The metal finish is perfect. The bolt still slides like silk and it has always been a great shooting gun. As it was my primary deer gun it does have some carry impressions in the stock, but none penetrate the finish to the wood, and they are not objectionable. There are no cracks or splits in the stock. Just a great 42 year old rifle that has served me well. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. I will carefully package and ship Priority Mail insured to your FFL. Please make sure that your FFL will receive this gun from a non FFL. If not their will be a $35 charge that I will have to pay my FFL. I will include a copy of my drivers licence with the gun.
