Armas Garbi 103B True Cased Pair, 20g
Description:
This pair of shotguns come from a widow whose husband was a banker who had too much money. He had a private jet with two pilots and would fly all over the world shooting game birds. It is unknown if he flew to Spain to order the guns, pick up the guns or both. This pair is custom made sparing no expense. Guns are loaded with as many upgrades as you can imagine. Current price is over $80,000.
This a beautiful true cased pair of Armas Garbi side by side 103B’s in 20ga. Manufactured in Spain in 2000 this matched pair has consecutive serial numbers. Both receivers are coin finished and uniquely engraved by noted Spanish engraver V. Alberdi, featuring two pheasants on the right, two quail on the left and a mallard on the underside. His signature can be seen on the left side beneath the quail. These shotguns are great upland bird guns especially under fine hunting dogs. Double triggers. The 27-inch concave tapered rib barrels are in great shape free from pitting or rust. The barrels are all chambered 2¾ and choked improved cylinder/improved cylinder. The straight stocks and splinter forearms are also in great condition showing moderate wear marks with the checkering nice and crisp. The stocks have stunning awesome wood. All gold numbering, lettering, and engraving on the barrels, forearms, trigger guards, top levers and safety are in incredible condition. Some thinning of the blueing at the end of the barrels. This pair comes with an Armas Garbi monogramed leather travel case and canvas cover. Also includes extra springs and firing pins--these alone cost over $500 from Garbi (See last picture). You will not be disappointed with this purchase!
