Excellent example of a mid-World War II Walther manufactured P38, fully matching with a Walther inspected magazine, mirror bore and correct manual mechanics. A great no-excuse collectable!
Description:
Standard configuration Walther P38, cal. 9mmP, made by Walther in 1943 using the "ac" manufacturer code. Drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Left side of slide marked "P.38" followed by "2083n / ac 43" and the safety lever detents. The left side of frame marked with matching serial number "2083 n" that is repeated under the barrel lug and in part on the locking block. Brown composite grips and blued magazine with eight cartridge indicator holes, Walther E/WaA359 acceptance on spine, and detachable floorplate.
Condition:
Excellent original salt blue finish with minimal sharp edge wear, the right side of the slide with a small rub mark, negligible thinning of the front strap. Comparable condition grips. Magazine with surface etching and shallow floorplate indentation. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics.
