For your consideration is a John Roberts &Sons (who owned the Rigby name for a while) English-made L579 Sako .243, manufactured in 1982. It was the 6th .243 they built on a short Sako action, according to Paul Roberts via email, a copy of which I will include. This excellent, well-built rifle in the modern English style would be great for whitetail or similar species. Overall, it has been hunted and used but definitely not abused; it does show scratches and signs of use. The bore is good, and it's ready for the next adventure, whether you're an English rifle collector or a Sako enthusiast. It has been threaded as well and is suppressor ready. The price is $3500 plus shipping. I am open to reasonable offers. I accept USPS money orders or personal checks.
