Offered is a classic pre-war Winchester Model 12, serial number 779826, manufactured in 1941. This highly desirable 12 gauge configuration features a 28” solid rib barrel chambered for 2 ¾” shells and marked Modified choke.
The Winchester Model 12 remains one of the finest pump shotguns ever produced. Pre-war examples are especially sought after for their superior machining, hand-fitted construction, and overall build quality.

This example presents in very strong field condition. The metal finish remains even and correct with honest handling wear consistent with careful use. The walnut stock retains good original finish with well-defined checkering and no evidence of sanding or abuse.
Mechanically the shotgun is tight and functions properly. The bore is clean and bright.
