Up for sale is a 1958 Ruger Single-Six chambered in .22 caliber with a 5-inch barrel. This is an early production, 3-screw (Old Model) Single-Six, representing Ruger’s original single-action design before the later transfer-bar system.
These early 3-screw revolvers are highly regarded for their classic operation, craftsmanship, and collector appeal. The revolver has a distinctive early look and feel that later models simply don’t replicate.
Condition is very nice for its age, with light, honest wear consistent with careful use over the years. Mechanically sound and functions as it should. A solid example that remains both shootable and collectible.
Early Single-Sixes like this continue to gain interest, especially in desirable barrel lengths.
