Serial #3967, .22 LR, 26 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Mossberg Model 44 US-D target rifle manufactured circa 1944 & 49. In excellent condition the barrel and frame shows 90-95% original blue finish with scattered freckling and use marks. The bolt shows vibrant case-colors and the stock is solid with scattered light marks and contusions. It comes with one original magazine and is equipped with an original sling. The original Mossberg S-130 rear peep and front hooded sights are present and it has a receiver mounted Weaver B6 Target scope with clear optics. An excellent example of the Mossberg Model 44 US-D that is well equipped. FFL or C&R
