This is a rare 2nd model , 5th variation with a special order 5" barrel.

Nickel finish , Nickel trigger guard attached with thru pin in the front and rear. Blade front sight. Serial # 87329
These were made for black powder cartridges.

Condition: 5” Raised rib round barrel with a lightly frosted bore , minor spot pitting from black powder use and still showing nice rifling.
The metal surfaces of this pistol rate about good, retaining most of the original nickel finish and showing scattered light scratches , handling marks , with some light oxidation staining throughout. and freckling under the ribbed barrel. The original black checkered hard rubber grips with H&R target logo rate excellent showing very little wear and handling marks. All serialized parts for the gun are matching. All barrel markings are clear and legible. Appears to have good timing with a little bit of cylinder play at a tight lock-up. Mechanically works very well in single and double action.
The current condition of the item listed has been described to the best of my ability . Please examine the photos , text thoroughly and make sure to ask any and all questions. Antique guns are sold as collector items only with no representation as to their safety to shoot or use.
Overall, this H&R Revolver is a good example of a rare and historically significant firearm from the late 19th century.
