Description:
This is a late production Winchester model 97 12ga. shotgun, with a mint 2 3/4" full choke bore. The overall condition of this gun is as fine as you could hope to find in a 67 year old shotgun. If you are familiar with the model 12 and 97, you will see that the tightening process for barrel to receiver, has never been adjusted (see pic. 13). The metal suraces carry 98% deep original blue, with wear to the action only. The walnut stocks are original, with minor handling marks, except for the finish on the bottom of the fore end (most likely from happy times in the duck blind). $1200.00 by certified funds, and shipped UPS to the FFL near you.
