Description:
26 inch half octagon replacement barrel with the Winchester trademark barrel address and is marked -MODEL 92 - 218 Bee-. Upgraded sights include a globe front sight with a “KING" marked blank in the rear sight seat to accommodate the Lyman folding tang sight with large eye cup. Full length tube magazine. Plain walnut forearm with matching straight grip buttstock fit with a crescent rifle butt plate. Barrel shows 98% blue, Magazine shows about 90% blue and the receiver shows about 50% blue with thinning areas turning brown. The lever shows some vivid case hardened coloring with the hammer and butt plate showing somewhat softer case coloring. The forearm is solid and appears to have been freshened up and fitting slightly shy to the receiver with the buttstock is solid and full fitting showing light wear and handling marks. Manufactured in 1894.
