Description:
Marlin Model 1895 chambered in 45-70 Gov't with a crossbolt safety. This has a 22" barrel marked "THE MARLIN FIREARM'S CO. NORTH HAVEN. CT. U.S.A. / MODEL 1895 CAL. 45-70", The stock is a two piece checkered pistol grip with a slightly curved rubber recoil pad. The sights are an adjustable folding semi buckhorn rear and a hooded beaded blade front. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. Serial 92002084. Gun only. .45-70 Government

Chambers: Lever action.
Metal Condition: "The barrel finish is great. The receiver shows finish streaks on the sides with thinning throughout, possibly from chemicals and handling (50%-60% remaining).
Wood Condition: The hand guard is great shape with a couple fine marks. The stocks show a few dents and dings with discolored wood around the frame area (see pictures). About 75% remaining.
Bore Condition: Bright bore with strong rifling.
Barrels: 22" barrel.
Triggers: Single trigger.
Stock Dimensions:
LOP 13.75".
Fore End: Checkered.
Butt Pad: Rubber.
Sights: Adjustable.
