"Serial No. B2681, manufactured circa 1894–1895, chambered in 7×57mm with a 22" round barrel. Bore is good with strong rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching throughout. Metal finish is thinning to an even grey patina while factory markings remain sharp and well defined. The stock shows light handling and impression marks and retains a handsome cartouche on the left side. Overall, this carbine presents as an honest and well-preserved example of a Chilean contract Loewe Mauser. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
