The Smith & Wesson M&P45 M2.0 with a 5.125-inch threaded barrel (often rounded to 5.5" in casual descriptions) is a full-sized, striker-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 Auto. This specific variant is designed as a high-capacity suppressor host, featuring a factory-threaded barrel, optics-ready slide, and suppressor-height sights. The slide is factory-cut for optics (C.O.R.E. system) and includes multiple adapter plates to fit various red dot sights. Stainless steel chassis extends to the front of the frame to reduce flex and torque during firing, improving stability. It utilizes the proven 18-degree grip angle for a natural point of aim and capable of interchangeable palmswell inserts to customize the fit to the shooter's hand. The frame features an aggressive M2.0 grip texture designed to provide a secure hold in all weather conditions without being overly abrasive.
