Description:
The Glock 17 Gen 2 is a full-sized, striker-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, representing the second major evolution of the original "Wonder Nine." Introduced in 1988, the Gen 2 model transitioned away from the smooth, "pebbled" grip of the Gen 1 by adding checkered texturing to the front and back straps for significantly improved handling. Utilizes Glock's Safe Action system, a striker-fired mechanism with three automatic, independent mechanical safeties: trigger safety, firing pin safety, and drop safety. The steel slide is treated with a matte black, corrosion-resistant finish. 9mm Luger
