Description:
The Winchester 1892 is in effect a shrunk down version of the model 1886, its dual locking blocks make it especially strong and modern versions can handle even the most powerful handgun cartridges. This example of a saddle ring carbine is in fair to good overall condition, with wear typical for its age. interestingly the bands have been modified, the rear band has been cut and rewelded to include a sling swivel and the front band has had its screw replaced with a nail.
