Early Remington Model 81 Woodsmaster mfg in 1937 (2nd year). .32 Remington caliber. 22" barrel. Bore is excellent. 5-shot fixed magazine. Takedown action design. Metal is very good. 90+% original blue with some areas turning plum patina. stampings and markings are crisp and well defined. Screw heads and slots are good. Wood has been refinished with what appears a lacquer type finish. Likely quite some time ago. Recoil pad was likely installed at that time. Pad is still flexible and not dried out. Looks pretty good.
